What I Eat in a Day

I am so fascinated by the "What I Eat in a Day" videos and pictures I see on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram that I figured I would blog about what a typical day of eating looks like for me as a 22 year old who mainly just cooks for herself.


I don't eat the same exact meals everyday, but I generally eat the same food groups. I'm pescatarian, but on this particular day I followed a vegetarian diet. I do not count calories, I just listen to my body and try to control my portion sizes. I eat a lot of whole and real foods, but as you'll see from today's menu, I clearly crave chocolate a lot. Balance!


I am currently working as an EatStreet driver until my full time job with Von Maur starts in September, so my eating and fitness schedule depends on what time I work each day. On this day I worked 11 am to 1:30 pm, so I did a couple FitOn app workouts at home and ate a filling breakfast before clocking in for work.


10:15 am- Stove-top oatmeal with peanut butter, fruit and dark chocolate chips


2 pm- Ezekiel Toast with mashed avocado + everything but the bagel seasoning, cucumber slices and a few strawberries


4:45 pm- Peanut, Dark Chocolate & Almond protein bar


7 pm- Brown rice & quinoa blend with sauteed peppers & onions, black beans, diced tomato and avocado chunks


7:30 pm- Dark Chocolate Brownie

(I used Julie's Real paleo brownie mix)


9:30pm- A couple handfuls of Goldfish (Not pictured hehe)
