Hello! I don't know about you guys, but I used to DESPISE at home workouts. I am motivated by others and like when somebody (an expert) is telling me what to do. So every week while I was in college I attended several workout classes that my school's gym offered. I loved going to them! Barre was by far my favorite. When COVID struck, one of the things I lost was access to these workout classes. I downloaded FitOn after hearing about it from a friend, and for the first time in my life, began to enjoy working out at home!
The best part about FitOn is that it's free! As someone on a tight budget, it's so nice to be able to workout with professional and motivating trainers without having to pay the price. For a non-sponsored and genuine breakdown on the app, keep reading!
There are a variety of videos and you can sort them by type, target area, length, intensity or trainer. See the below photos:

You will also get a customized workout program based on your goals, how many workouts you want to do each week, etc. Each week you are assigned different videos to try based on the answers to your questions. My plan is pictured below, but I don't typically do the videos the app suggests. There are countless workout videos, so I choose them based on the length of time I have and what type of exercise I want to do.
I like to do 3 days of cardio, 2 days of strength and 2 days of stretching/resting. My weekly order is typically "cardio, strength, stretch, cardio, strength, stretch, cardio." It has been easy to follow while being in quarantine and working only part time as a delivery driver, but when I start my full time job in September I may need to switch it up depending on how much time and energy I'll have.

One of my favorite things to do is upload progress pictures! I upload one after every workout to remind myself that no matter what I am showing up and making progress in my heath and happiness. You can add friends on the app and see their progress pictures as well. Send me a message if you'd like to be friends!

The app also tracks the number of workouts you've completed as well as an estimate of the calories you've burned. My profile is below. You earn different badges or "achievements" for competing different challenges, meeting your goals, etc. Finally, the app documents your daily and weekly activity so that you can keep track of all the workouts you've done! As you can see below, I did not work out on the 27th or the 28th because I spent the weekend with friends going to the beach, eating lots of junk food, drinking and just enjoying life. It is okay to indulge and let loose! I have to remind myself of that often.

I hope you enjoyed learning about my favorite workout app! If you'd like to learn more about the app or want a post specifically about my favorite videos and instructors please leave a comment or send me a message. Thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Presley
